Garderobemekka is a small chain with a strong focus on customized products. We were established in 2020, and have the same owner as Glassmester1. This means that we have very favorable agreements on the purchase of glass and aluminum, which are the main components of a sliding door. We manufacture the sliding doors ourselves and have customer service as our highest priority.
In the more than two years since it was established, Garderobemekka has soon set up five stores, four in Eastern Norway and one in Trondheim. At the same time, the range has been gradually expanded so that you can now choose from a large selection of fronts, with decorative panels, colored glass, mirrors and white or black fittings. Garderobemekka focuses on quality at every stage, and the fact that the sliding doors are manufactured in Norway is a great advantage for customers.
We have a factory in Lørenskog and one in Trondheim. This is, of course, sustainable in terms of short transportation of the finished products, and we also contribute to Norwegian jobs. And for our customers, it’s a huge advantage. Not only does it take less time to produce the goods, it’s also cheaper, and the furnishings are ready in a local warehouse, so they can be picked up almost immediately. And communication is so much easier, both when ordering and in the event of a complaint,” says the regional manager.

There’s plenty of space in the 240 m2 premises, and fitting wardrobes is part of the store manager’s training. At Garderobemekka, solid product knowledge is important, and Frogner and his colleagues will go the extra mile to ensure that customers get the information and service they deserve. He himself is looking forward to seeing the store filled with customers.
