Black decor

After a long period of white and light interiors, the darker trend has taken over and more and more customers are turning to the dark side. Black glass paired with smoky mirrors is in high demand, and the matte newcomer gives the style an even more exclusive touch.

“The matte fronts are extra stylish together with the black profiles, which also have a matte finish and are reminiscent of wrought iron. And now we’ve also just launched black interiors, which means you can give your wardrobe a cohesive look from top to bottom,” says Solveig.

But the black profiles also look great with other dark colors. In general, it’s easy to achieve a consistent interior design style if you go for black details. Using sliding doors to create a laundry area in the bathroom is becoming more and more common, and here too the dark trend has become very big.

“Sliding doors are quality products that last a long time, so this is not where we see the biggest trend changes. But more and more people are daring to choose black, and together with black fittings and details in the bathroom, a dark sliding door with black details can really be the finishing touch,” says Solveig Hildre.

Increasingly darker bedrooms

In the past, sooty mirrors with silver profiles were a popular combination, and white profiles have been a favorite among many. Now the black profiles are by far the most preferred, but the other options are still there. With the right lighting, dark colors can also work well in a small hallway, especially if you combine it with a clear mirror that reflects the light,” says Solveig Hildre.
