Soverom 2024: Finn roen

The new bedroom trends are all about sleep, comfort and unwinding. Here are the most important keywords.
The bedroom trends for 2026 seem to have one main goal: to calm us down and make us want to sleep. Soft textiles, blackout curtains and calm, muted colors create a room where it is easier to relax. And last but not least: clutter creates unrest, so it needs to go. The TV should go too.
Garderobemekka delivers and installs tailor-made sliding door wardrobes in Asker and Baerum, Oslo, Romerike, Ostfold, Forus and Trondheim, at the best overall price on the market.

First rule: Textiles

Bedrooms should be full of textiles: soft rugs you can bury your toes in, long blackout curtains that make the room dark and soft, a bed filled with pillows and blankets, and preferably an upholstered headboard too. Hotel vibes? Exactly. The next point also brings that sense of calm luxury.

Duse farger

The colors in the bedroom should also help you relax. White surfaces are no longer the focus; the room should feel warm and inviting. Nature is still an important source of inspiration, and green tones combined with natural, light shades, plants and wooden furniture can create the feeling of sleeping outdoors. If you prefer warmer colors, rust, peach, dusty pink and warm yellow can work beautifully in a bedroom. Think about which colors make you feel relaxed, and find your favorites.

Hide the clutter and the TV screen

We sleep best in calm surroundings. That means the bedroom should not overflow with clutter. How do we make that work in practice? A sliding door wardrobe can solve the clutter problem. It can hide clothes and bedding, but also shelves for other things that disturb the interior. And why not hide the TV behind a sliding door? TV in the bedroom is out; blue light disturbs sleep. If you still like watching TV in bed, you can hide the screen effectively behind a sliding door when it is not in use.
